Ipoh Hawker Food

I see you wiping your saliva there …….

If you’re an ardent fan of Motormouth From Ipoh (what? I can’t blow my own trumpet for once meh?) you would have noticed that I have always favoured delicious and cheap street food/hawker food over posh/pretentious/fine dining affairs. After all I was brought up in IPOH, the mecca of hawker food (alongside Penang) in Malaysia!!!

Read my article featured on RasaMalaysia.com at the following link :

Ipoh Street Food (Ipoh Hawker Food)

And now, from the hunger-inducing, to the downright obnoxious. Grab a copy of The Star (a leading English newspaper in Malaysia) today (3rd April 2010) and flip all the way over to the Weekender section. Grab a magnifying glass, and scout through every nook and corner of the pages.

Maybe, JUST maybe, you will be able to see J2Kfm in there. 😉

EVEN more of a STAR? Hahaha, I was never one to start off with ler … aiyo.
I pay my own meals, clean my own plates, drive myself over to places, and still got fed up with services. 🙂

Ah XIAN? Nah …. not as palatable-looking. I would rather keep myself anonymous on the Net, to avoid people starting to feel repulsive over whatever food I might be recommending.

Take me out for makan? Sounds great lah!

Lose out with Elin’s Tidbits Corner? Not sure what you mean, but her blog’s one of the simpler, and great recipe blog that I know of. From food reviews to recipes, I’ve been an ardent follower of her since I started blogging over at my old blog.

But then, people wouldn’t wanna look at food reviews with all plates polished off, no thanks to my ravishing appetite, no?

And congrats you have made it once again! I am proud of you as always lol! not always invited as guest writer for a famos blogger like RasaMalaysia. She is picky of her guests and you have made Ipoh poud. Keep up the good work. As stated by Claire, as a reward we will take you out for makan * wink , if you don’t mind the company of ‘old aunties ‘ . After Jo goes off to UK we will meet up. I have been busy running up and down KL just to have her visas and stuff done. We will meet up for sure after that. Meantime continue to write good stuff for us. Your name has become a household name now. Whenever we want to eat out we will refer to you for sure….lol! See what I mean I am sure all Ipohans do that now :p
