hi Alex. all this time I’ve eaten the tapau-ed version of the CCF (which is good, very tasty mind you)
and yet to snap photos of the premise itself.
reason being – I almost always went there during working hours mostly.
and the CCF opens only from 5-6om onwards.

    soon, I promise. ok?

Felda Residence Trolak is a little bit far from the small towns of Sungkai and Bidor. But you can choose to travel a short distance to Bidor as there’s one very famous nasi kandar
named Nordin Nasi Kandar Restaurant on the main road of Bidor. You can check out his story here : http://telecentre.my/kampungchang/index.php/en/entrepreneurship.html

Along the trunk road (between Kampar and Tapah) there is one Restoran Capati that’s rather famous.

As for Sungkai, sorry for I am not sure what good Halal food is there.

for the people who stay in Pantai Remis, they sure to know a coffee shop known as Tong Chew Restaurant (??????. i went yesterday to find that there are many stalls selling all types of local foods such as curry mee, java mee, indian mee, penang fried kuehtiao, chicken rice, kueh-mueh etc etc. besides, i like most is the stall selling chinese ????. the stall cook was formerly a 5-star chef and is back to his own hometown. His specialities are curry fish head, cury prawns, stewed pig legs and others. go, try and comment.

    Thanks auko.
Just a reminder to all new readers of this blog; I used to be travelling often around Perak. Hence this Perak Food List was made possible.
But I have since moved to KL (Dec 2010) and food hunting around Perak may not be the same again.
But of course, you’ll never know when I might just pop up at your favourite stall in the most secluded of places.

Hi ichi. Yes, I am aware of Mastan Ghani. I have always made a point to drop by back then, but somehow skipped and missed the opportunities. I have been to Gulam Rasul for their nasi kandar a few times though. Will cover Mastan Ghani the very next visit then,

This is a very good website for good food in Malaysia. I am going to Penang shortly and my friends told me there are good seafood restaurants in Nibong Tebal town (not very far from the NS Highway toll). Can someone make some recommendations?

Bukit Tambun I’m more familiar. Nibong Tebal I am not so sure. But there is one very famous yet obscure place for curry prawns with Benggali bread in town. Or you can try the fried pork knuckle from Swee Garden – http://www.j2kfm.com/swee-garden-seafood-restaurant-nibong-tebal-crispy-pork-knuckle/

Hello! I know this is kind of off-topic however I needed to ask.

Does running a well-established blog such as yours
take a massive amount work? I’m completely new to blogging but I do
write in my diary every day. I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my experience and feelings online.
Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips for new aspiring blog owners.
    Thankyou!
