    Greetings Food Blogger! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi there, we are a couple from Malaysia who is currently involved in and managing a food directory website called GoWhereEat, which is pretty much on a similar vein as BestFoodJunction and MalaysiaMostWantedFood, except a much nicer layout, and definitely more user friendly. If you wish to increase awareness and traffic to your blog or site, one of the best ways is through referrals, especially on a niche-centered portal like ours. We are hoping to grow our food portal, and help you gain more traffic to your site by submitting your yummy food entries to us. Your entries will be linked to your site so that people can click through to your blog to read about the whole post. Our website only serves as a directory. No other content will be taken from your site unless you yourself has submitted the information to us. In other words, it is totally at your discretion.

We also hope that the website will serve as a platform to showcase food photography at its finest, therefore creating an environment for you to market your talent as well as be scouted as a food photographer.

Please sign up at a user and start submitting your gorgeous photographs, to direct more people back to you!

On a privacy-related note, all photographs submitted by you belongs to you and all credit will be to its rightful owner, which is you. Should you wish to edit, upload or delete more pictures, it is at your discretion and GoWhereEat will not touch it. We only wish to help spread the love of places we love to eat around the country and possibly other places in the future.

You can read more about us here which is a more detailed explanation about what we do, and the purpose of this website in general.

Please do not hesitate to ask any questions which you may have in mind.

    Thank you and regards,
    Liwun ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi J2Kfm,

I am one of the admin of Sin Mee Fah’s facebook like page. We came across to your blog about our shop and it is such a big honour to us for being one of your recommendation in your blog! We learnt that you were not able to get information about our products on the day you came in and we are sorry for it. For your information, we serve very old style Chinese biscuits such as Kong Sou Peng that you have mentioned, Mo Lo Sou (???) (I guess you have not tried it yet), Ham Dan Sou (???) and etcetera which were long lost in the market (might not in Malaysia but you are hardly find it in Ipoh nowadays). Basically we have pandan kaya puff, egg tarts and Kong Sou Peng everyday but other biscuits are vary day by day depending on sifu’s idea and the freshness of raw materials.

Besides, our shop is open from 10am to 6pm everyday and day off is not fixed.

We welcome you to visit our shop again in the future to try out more Chinese traditional biscuits and hope that our products could delight your taste buds! Once again, we thank you for recommending our biscuits in your blog.

    Best Regards,
    Yip (Sin Mee Fah)

Last Sunday on 10-6-12..we have a wedding dinner at Ipoh Garden East Ocean Seafood Restaurant. We have dissatisfied about some circumstances. This is regarding the red wine, the restaurant is free us 18 nos wine. The restaurant start to serve the wine around 8pm, our guess request the wine during having 2nd meal only, the waiter said to him all wine are finish. After the dinner is finish, we have count the empty botol..is just have 11 only, we dun have see any balance red wine at restaurant anymore. Then, i ask the Manager why just give us 11 nos wine only? Firstly, he just said to me all the wine is finish by your guess already..we already give you enough of nos..After few minute.. the manager said to me is another story..he said this thing is so funny..we found the balance wine at below of the table..this is what the bad reason to me? This restaurant totally give all of my family (include our guess) have a very bad impression.

The nyonya kuih is a separate business who rented from the jack fah restaurant owner.

I hope you please change the information as soon as possible. I apologize for any misunderstanding parts that occurred in this response mail.

If I may ask, what area would you recommend to stay in that has the most abundance of street foods and nightlife? I’m planning to stay for just 3 or 4 days.

I appreciate any suggestions and look forward to hearing from you!

Georgetown definitely. Stay somewhere within walkable distance to everywhere, preferably around Penang Road. Or if you rent a car or a friend to drive you around, go stay Tg Bungah area. Not too bad and away from the congestion.

    Dear J2Kfm,

I am also from Ipoh and very proud to be telling my friends and colleagues that I hail from Ipoh.

Anyway, this long weekend, my colleagues are planning a makan trip to Ipoh and we plan to start the journey from KL at 7am on Saturday and hopefully be able to reach Ipoh at 9.30am in time for a round of breakfast at House of Mirrors.

However, we are afraid that some of us might not be able to withstand hunger until then. Do you have any recommendation of good food along the North South highway that we could stopover for a quick bite? I am completely clueless regarding this because I normally don’t detour when I’m travelling back home. Thanks.

    Hi again,
I know it’s a long shot but any chance there is an O and S like restaurant with similar quality near the city central. I have a short stop over in Kul and want to eat as much as I can before I leave. CKT, BKT, nasi lemak, curry laksa, popiah rolls..I want to try it all..in a 6 hour layover (my stomach will be hating me after I get on the plane). I basically want to know where the greatest concentration of good food is and I have a feeling it’s not Jalan Alor ๐Ÿ™‚
