13. TANDOOR GRILL – Best of North Indian Cuisine @ Ipoh
Hands down one of the biggest (literally) & most pleasant surprise that has hit Ipoh in the recent years; the opening of Tandoor Grill in Greentown breathed new life to the North Indian cuisine scene in Ipoh. Trailblazing a few firsts in Ipoh; namely pairing authentic Indian cuisine with wines, injecting a certain finesse to the dining experience and allocating a venue large enough for a wedding banquet, Tandoor Grill tops it all with excellent rendition of North Indian fares thanks to the ensemble of capable hands in the kitchen. Try their signature mocktails, succulent Tandoori chicken with fluffy Garlic Naan, Hyderabad Gosht Biryani and their fabulous Kulfi.

Had Christmas dinner with my family at STG. We are not picky eaters but I hv to say that the food at STG that night was bad. We will very likely not visit there again.

I was there for Christmas too, we enjoyed the lamb rack very much, beautiful dish.
Smoked salmon was nice too. Service was excellent even we r a big group of 12 adults n kids.
We definitely will visit again.

The readers seem not agree it.
Myself only able to rate STG as a nice place for tea & definitely not for food.
I do believe Motormouth is not bias

STG!!! Food is bad ! No free plain drinking water. Every thing they charge. I am not going back there.

Don’t you think such an establishment should provide free water for the price the customers are paying? An overlooked flaw IMHO.
