I thought the sliced potatoes were plantains when I first saw them. They look so yellow – lots of tasty oil I suppose.

MM, yours shots too much bokeh ayam goreng and sambal tampe tune aperture higher. Personally I preferred Nasi lemak kukus near my place Taman Pinji Mewah. Another place you can try decent nasi lemak will be near Carrefore Loke yew road. Located near the junction traffic light, opposite the stall was flats and further down shell petrol station. They sell satay as well, further down was Cockrane (sorry wrong spelling) school same row.
