I respectfully disagree with your implication that a “crappie rating system” should not be implemented. Seriously, if 5 different diners state that a particular place has the cleanliness of a cesspool and a ridiculous rip off, I would seriously think twice before venturing there. Granted that fake negative remarks could jeopardise an eatery’s business but would you prefer not to know of such shortcomings if the remarks are indeed valid and genuine? Would the eatery itself not want to know of its shortcomings from actual discerning paying diners (instead of being heaped with praise from sponsored/paid reviewers) and thereafter improve itself? It goes without saying that each individual is different with different tastes and tolerance levels (I for one, will try to avoid anything vegetarian if I’ve got a choice) but if such rating systems play no purpose then why do some websites e.g. Tripadvisor use them?

That being said, Motormouth – please do also consider an option of hiding ratings for those readers/diners who prefer not to be in the know of how their money will be spent.

It’s the spacing of this blog. Not enough “white spaces” so everything looks crowded. Example, the wordings stretches left to right until it almost reach the right column. And same for the photos too.

Agree with the other comments about more games and contests for readers with the food outlets rolling out the prizes.
