HK -Shots of Life (The Traumatic Post-Holiday Blues)
May 24, 2011 | 2,040 views#1 – Deanie Ip (Yip Tak Han in Cantonese) is a Cantopop singer and Chinese actress in Hong Kong.
#2 – Strangers share tables, chairs, and nothing short of food in hole in a wall establishments all over Hong Kong.
#3 – Business booms early in the morning, when the whole city still sleeps in.
#4 – Vagrant fishing on a desolate pier near to the famous Tsing Ma bridge.
#5 – Short of pouring the contents all over the counter, the officers in white were nothing more than … a nuisance on a bright, sunny day.
#6 – At least he picked his spot. By not aiming at someone’s prized tyre.
#7 – Insipid canine on a scorching afternoon in Stanley (known as ‘Chek Chue’ in Cantonese)
#8 – Strangers in close proximity, yet absolutely no connection. Aside from the common bonding through the desire to satiate the hunger pangs.
#9 – This lady offered (or coerced) to share her table with the menacing foursome. She was deep in thoughts, and guess which page of the daily was her eyes fixed upon?
#10 – An absolute performer. The CRANE stance on a beautiful evening on the way to the Mount Fortress in Macau.
Back from a considerably long holiday to Hong Kong and Macau. Suffice to say, aside from darker a few shades and piling on a few pounds, the experience was nothing short of … exhilarating. In every sense of the word.
Tune in for more posts (mostly food-related, obviously) in the coming days. For now, I had better recoup my precious beauty sleeps, realign these old creaking bones and do some damage control; calorie-wise.
Happy Midweek people! Bet you’re fuming now knowing that Motormouth starts his weekday blues on a Wednesday instead of the usual Monday huh? 🙂

oooO.. nice… was planning a macau + HK trip later this year too, looking forward for your posting 🙂

End of the year would be great, cooler. It was not terribly hot yet the occasional rain somewhat marred the plan.

I was there about a month back just to buy the enagic.com kangen water.
The food is yummy. Went to the buddha, disneyland and the peak in only 1 day just to buy the stuff at nathan road.
The wontonmee at the airport is pretty good also.
Taiko, why not try the kangen water? Can try it for free in KL also, but the machine is only sold in HongKong. See my site. Good for health. yingyang. aha…
tks.
