Hey Man…lovely blog…excellent description of the food. As someone who knows the specs of the food quite well, Fajita’s in Chilis are automatically served with three flour tortillas, unless you ask for more. Otherwise, Chili’s is the only restaurant in Malaysia, that I know of, that refills the tortilla’s for FREE!!! Other Tex-Mex places ask you to pay if you ask for more pieces. Because the Chili’s portions are big, they serve with three but if you want more, can just ask and they will refill for you…that’s why Chilis is ‘Like No Place Else’!!!

SimpleGirl : yeah, I hope as well. sometimes dining out in Ipoh left me with the same old choices. kinda boring after awhile.

KCA : yeah, once you start digging, you may not be able to finish though. too much for one at a shot.

JENCOOKS : yeah, the crowd consists of people from all over the world, literally!

jasmine : yeah. but I could only manage one or two refills. too full for more.

jason : ahhaha... how true! =P but at least it MAY change Ipohan's perception of western food ma.

vkeong : yeah. the one in MidValley was more spacious and ocmfortable, at least to me.

sc : TGIF holds a special spot in my heart. I still rmbr eating at the outlet in Life Centre (or whatever the place's called) as a kid. such humongous serving!

NKOTB: i seriously dun think so. unless tourists start pouring in.

PureGlutton : its the giant servings that attract me. a challenge, one might say!

mimid3vils : if not for the juicy sauteed mushrooms, the meat may be slightly dry and tough to swallow.

Chilli’s is very popular in the Klang Valley – good for their Tex-Mex cuisine. I can never finish the servings coz it’s so huge – must always share!

over the years of eating chilli’s food, i do feel that the quality has dropped quite a bit…nonetheless, still better than TGIF for me

I have never bothered to dine in KLCC’s Chilis because I know it would be too packed.. so, I go to the one at Midvalley heh

The place is always packed even on weekdays. Em… if this is to open in Ipoh, I think it’ll close down as fast as it opens!
