Standard must hv slipped..was there on a public holiday and there was hardly any crowd and I ordered the ccf w mushroom, wantan mee, small plate of
Extra char Siew, curry wantan mee (dry) and dare I say I was unimpressed
There are surely better places for so-called authentic ipoh fare in kl. meal for two was rm30..reasonable for kl standard but like I said quality was lacking-ccf lacked taste, curry mee had hardly any curry sauce, char Siew was not properly barbecued and lacked the smoky flavor and was decidedly dry despite the small layer of fat!!
Also beware that at lunch time, the parking is a bitch with a capital B

[...] All in all, a dish cost us about RM20-RM25 per pax; and we daresay this was a take given a peculiarity of a cooking, a portions served and a environment. Plus, this being a grill in Uptown after all …. where we mostly don’t compensate for a dish that’s reduction than RM10 unless you’re eating in coffee shops, McDonald’s, or gems like Annie1!
