I agree with you though that the cakes there are god-awful. I remember going for their tiramisu which was supposed to be 'one of the best'. What arrived didnt even resemble a tiramisu nor tasted like one. It was served with a raspberry compote which I thought was chilli sauce. I have no problem with reinventing food as it does add excitement for the dinner, but the actual flavour/ identity of the dish should never be sacrificed. <br/><br/>On my second visit, I opted for their bread & butter pudding. This pudding is probably one of the easiest puddings to make - kids in england get thought how to make it at the age of 13 in home economics classes. Again, it tasted nothing like bread and butter pudding but more like raisin sponge cake with cream and ice cream. <br/><br/>...
